Report: "Public Information and Public Participation in the context of Directives 90/220 and 2001/18"

The project "Public information and public participation in the context of EU Directives 90/220 and 2001/18" has a twofold aim. The first aim is to produce an inventory of present provisions for public information and public participation on a proposed experimental release of GMOs into the environment in national legislation of a number of EU member states and Central and Eastern European countries. The second aim is to provide a platform for an exchange of views between CAs and Interested Parties (IPs) on implementation of provisions for public information and public participation as foreseen by Directive 2001/18 in national legislation, through convening a two-day European workshop.
